The facility is a privately owned residence located on several wooded acres at Ninemile Point on the shores of Lake Huron, approximately 13 miles east of Cheboygan, Michigan on US Highway 23. Built in the years 2004-2008, it is a sprawling Victorian style log home with its very own functioning lighthouse and observation deck. It has six bedrooms and baths, four of which are for guests, two lounges, a great room, dining room, banquet room, kitchen and numerous others, sixteen in all, with turrets and wrap-around decks and gazebo. From the lighthouse deck 40 feet above Lake Huron you can see 3 lighthouses, several islands, and the Mackinac Bridge. The home was opened to the public as a bed and breakfast in 2013.
Located in the heart of Northern Michigan's scenic tourist area, it is within a 30 minute drive of numerous state parks and recreation areas, nature trails, beaches, and attractions such as Mackinaw City and the Island, Cheboygan, Rogers City, Black Mountain, and the Inland Waterway. There are bicycle trails, rivers and streams for canoes or kayaks, and cross country ski and snowmobile trails for winter activities. Fall colors are spectacular. If you are a boater, we are only 4 miles from Hammond Bay harbor. For aviators, Cheboygan airport is 15 miles away. This a resort for all seasons.
